Pret a Manger is a popular international chain of sandwich shops and cafes known for its fresh, ready-to-eat food and emphasis on natural ingredients. They have started a new outlet in the Lion walk in Colchester Town.
This coffee shop stands out for its spacious layout and pleasant ambiance, making it an excellent choice if you are looking to relax, meet with friends, or get some work done. The high-quality beverages and friendly staff enhance the experience, although the premium pricing and potential for crowds during peak times are considerations to keep in mind.- Service

One of my favourite spots in town to work remotely, fast WiFi, plenty of seating with plugs and nice cool air con. The upstairs seating is light, airy and clean, with always somewhere to sit. Good selection of drinks and food.

The atmosphere in this shop is warm and cozy, with a charming, personal touch that makes you feel right at home. The coffee is excellent – rich, aromatic, and clearly made with care. Weronika and Charlie and test of the team are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their passion for what they do really shows, both in the quality of their drinks and in the service. I really recommend It!

Joanna, thank you for taking the time to share your experience about our coffee. We're pleased to hear you’re a fan of our team.
I've used Cafe Nero as my go-to for years, but I was short on time, so I tried Pret. The service I got from Charlie and Betty was exceptional, the cappuccino was made to perfection. Charlie and Betty are a credit to Pret; you've now permanently gained a customer from your rivals.
